We all talk about corruption and blame others, sometimes we blame any Govt. Official for asking bribe to do the work which he is anyways supposed to do. We all have bad experiences on the road with the Traffic Surgeonts. If you are driving your car, or bike and any slightest of error you commit in following the traffic signal, he will get hold of you, if he's around and make your life hell. He will first threaten you to cancel your driving license, then will make you afraid by saying how much you have to face trouble if he takes legal action, and then lastly he will spare you by taking a handsome bribe from you. We all have these experiences. And what's the sad part is that, we instead of paying the Fine to the Government ends up paying a bribe to these morons. It is WE who encourage these Bribe-Takers to the fullest extent and then later blame everyone for Corruption. Even if they don't ask for it, we ourselves offer them Bribes to get our work done, and then again later on cry and make fuss about it.
If we want to really do something for the society, for ourselves, first we have to refrain ourselves from doing such acts. As someone has rightly said that "Charity begins at home". Similarly before pointing fingers at others first we have to be a Corruption Free person. We need to be the change first, that we want to see at others.
In my eyes, the top 3 Corrupted people in India will be:
1> Saints (like Ram Dev Baba who has gathered more than 1000 crores of property in his name).
2> Politicians
3> High Ranked Govt. Officials
These people have taken benefits of the "TRUST FACTOR" which the common people has shown on them making money for themselves and doing nothing for the society. But I don't blame them at all. They come from us only. Unless we free ourselves from Corruption, the society will never comeout of this curse, producing many more Ram Dev Babas.
